CAT was an Indian crime thriller released on Netflix in December 2022. This eight-episode show was gripping and was the first Punjabi original series on Netflix.

The screenplay is tightly written and can get the audience hooked on the spot and throughout the show. The casting and the supporting roles were great. The cinematography and the production design were amazing. Some scenes are very gruesome and were shot very well. Some twists and turns keep the viewers up on their toes. Randeep Hooda, who played Gurnam, stole the show with his effortless acting. The show also portrays male chauvinism in Punjab quite accurately. The series was slow-paced but was promising in the first few episodes. However, as the series progressed, there was a change in the pace of narration and the story. Overall, it is worth watching one time at least.
